Dame Prue’s parachute dress and Romeo Beckham’s runway debut – London Fashion week in pictures

London Fashion Week comes to a close on Monday after showcasing the best of British design and beyond.

This autumn’s festival of style has seen the brand Dreaming Eli’s debut show held inside St Cyprian’s Church, as well as H&M making a return and Oxfam hosting their own catwalk.

Bake Off star Dame Prue Leith, singer-songwriter Matt Goss and Romeo Beckham were just a few of the stars to appear at the event.

The week was opened by a returning H&M at 180 Strand, with a show featuring star power such as Iris Law and Romeo Beckham, and over 700 guests including model Emily Ratajkowski.

Singer Lola Young performed two of her songs for the audience, including her chart-topping Gen-Z anthem Messy.

Location location location

As always, catwalks have been taking place in a variety of striking locations in London including Battersea Power Station, the Royal Horseguards Hotel, the Royal Opera House – and several of the capital’s historic churches which each provided their own distinctive backdrops.

Making a statement

And of course it wouldn’t be Fashion Week without some more outlandish outfits, adorning some stylish star names.

TV presenter Dame Prue Leith turned heads at Vin + Omi: Dysphoriana show when she walked the runway in an bright red RAF parachute that had been redesigned as a dress.

The design duo known for their avant-garde and eco-conscious creations.

Elsewhere, Oxfam hosted a runway in honour of second-hand September, featuring celebrities including the singer Sam Ryder, model Jade Parfitt and the writer and presenter Katie Piper.
