Husband found dead in dream home under construction

Police are investigating the death of a 45-year-old man who was found inside his unfinished house in the vicinity of Brothers Ground, Garth Road, Williamsville, on Monday.

Ronnie Lazim Hosein, an electrician and instrumentation technician, was found lying in a pool of blood of the bathroom by his wife and a relative, after he failed to pick up his child from school.

Hosein’s wife said she last saw her husband yesterday at around 7.10 a.m., at their home in Princes Town, before she left for work, and last spoke to him via telephone at around 9 a.m.

However, she received a call at around 4.20 p.m., informing her that her husband had not picked up their child at school. She said all calls to her husband went unanswered.

When Hosein could not be located at his sister’s house, his wife and sister went to the house in Williamsville at around 5.15 p.m., where she found her husband’s car parked with a bunch of keys on the front seat.

Both women found Hosein unresponsive in the bathroom with blood covering his face.

He was pronounced dead.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted at the Forensic Science Centre.

The vehicle was taken to the Special Evidence Recovery Unit (SERU) in Cumuto.
