The Weeknd Announces ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Album Release Date – The daily world bulletin
The Weeknd Announces ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Album Release Date

The Weeknd is ready for the future, as he recently announced the release date for his forthcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Fans won’t have to wait too long, as the LP will arrive on January 24, 2025. This will copy the blueprint from his 2022 album Dawn FM, which opened that year with its Jan. 7 release. One day after the album drops, he will take the stage at Rose Bowl Stadium for a one-night-only show. Tickets go on sale Monday, Dec. 2.

So far, the Canadian superstar has shared the singles “Dancing In The Flames,” “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti, and “São Paolo” featuring Anitta. Check out the announcements below.

The Weeknd has a film on the way which is also titled Hurry Up Tomorrow, functioning as an accompanying piece; this will punctuate the closing of his trilogy which began with 2020’s After Hours and continued with 2022’s Dawn FM. He will be the star of the Lionsgate psychological thriller alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan with direction from Trey Edward Shults.

“Abel is a visionary whose art cannot be confined by any single medium,” Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said. “With Hurry Up Tomorrow, in partnership with Trey, his musical universe expands onto the big screen with a psychological thriller that will usher in a new cinematic experience for fans. We are thrilled to be bringing it to audiences worldwide.”

Outside of his upcoming album and film, The Weeknd found himself in the middle of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud earlier this year. He joined Future and Metro Boomin on multiple tracks from their two albums We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, and dissed the 6 God directly on “All To Myself.” Listen below.
